At an early age, Rick demonstrated a knack for skilled manual labor and a talent for learning. He started out working summers during high school as a residential framer, and later with stucco and concrete crews. He became an electrical superintendent and later a superintendent for a leading U.S. homebuilder. all while still an undergraduate. He completed multiple projects in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Colorado including large manufacturing plants, retail centers, residential subdivision developments, commercial remodels and tenant improvements. After graduating, he was hired as director of construction for a large manufacturing company. It wasn’t long before he set out to create a company that reflected his background and vision for the future.
Rick’s diverse experience and insatiable thirst for knowledge has manifested in the rise of Red Rock to its current status as a versatile and highly respected force in the custom design and construction market. Working across a spectrum of residential and commercial construction genres, the company embodies Rick’s spirit of problem-solving and innovation, and brings those vast resources to fruition in service of the company’s diverse and often-elite client base.
Rick has a long history of professional engagement and leadership, especially in the pool and spa industry. Over the past 20 years-plus, he has been a key player in leading industry groups, such as Genesis 3 where he chaired the advisory board, served as an instructor and was a member of the Society of Watershape Designers. He is now teaching for Watershape University, where is also a founding member of the International Watershape Institute.

He then started a construction clean-up company working for local pool builders. He sold the company and then started Red Rock with his long- time friend, Rick Chafey. Focusing mainly on the outdoor environments, Brett leads the company’s sales, design and construction activities for pools and landscapes.
Jessica Chrisman

Jessica Chrisman
She was hired on at Red Rock in mid 2007 as the Accountant/Office Manager. She is in charge of all of Red Rock’s accounting as well as managing the office–including human resources responsibilities. Jessica also works closely with the Superintendents and Project Managers on all jobs. In addition to these duties, she has successfully tackled the responsibilities of advertising and marketing. These tasks include assisting with management of the company website, printed brochures & pamphlets, and advertising in local magazines.
During her off time, Jessica enjoys spending time with family, friends and her animals and goes to the beach any chance she gets. Jessica’s organization and determination are wonderful assets to Red Rock Contractors.

Jordan Walker
He has a wide range of knowledge from framing, plumbing, welding, automotive, on & off road experience and project management. He is one of the guys on the Red Rock Team that is involved in many different duties from housing to the outdoor landscape environments. He now heads up the custom pool & spa division.
When Jordan is not working, he is spending quality time with family and friends camping, fishing, mountain biking, and exploring the outdoors in one of his off road vehicles.

With over 20 years of experience in design, Ben has been instrumental in designing a variety of recognized residential, commercial, and industrial projects. He also has the experience of managing the construction of most of these projects. He is skilled in civil planning with recognized designs and groundbreaking development approvals in Idaho and Arizona. He has successfully managed projects with environmental sensitivities, challenging topography, equestrian facilities, neighborhood mixed-use, high-density residential, and fully sustainable communities. Ben designed and built Gilbert’s first hotels including the Gilbert DoubleTree hotel and conference center. He has designed and managed construction for government agencies such as TAACOM and Customs and Border Protection including port of entry and telecommunication facilities. He has worked with Freeport-McMoRan as a certified miner to design and build communication infrastructure for many of their Arizona mines. Ben is constantly self-educating, staying on top of the latest in technical training in architecture, project management, and construction safety.
Ben’s extensive management experience and his ability to produce clean, detailed construction documents has been an invaluable addition to the Red Rock Brand.

An Arizona native, Ben was raised on architecture, development, and ranching. He attended Highland High School, Mesa Community College, and Arizona State University. He is a proud father involved in church and community.

Joyce became a part of the Red Rock Team in August 2018. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, family, and friends, off-roading, at the sand dunes, and boating, anything outdoors. She is also a proud Costco Member since July 1996!

While attending ITT Tech, Jake worked in the demolition side of construction for over two years. After just three months in the industry he became a Project Lead, completing both residential and commercial demolition jobs. Jake then worked at Intel-Ocotillo Site as a C.A.D operator, providing assistance in the field resolving plumbing, piping, HVAC, and other mechanical issues. Other duties included drafting and detailing chemical lines to tools that make the chipsets, motherboards, and wafers components for computers, phones, and other electronic devices.
Jake strives for excellence and challenges himself to become more efficient and productive on a daily basis. He is always expanding his knowledge and skills as a member of the Red Rock Team.

Jack joined the Red Rock team in 2019. He is currently applying his talents to draft construction documents for a multitude of projects. He is excited to utilize his creativity and technical skills to assist the team in developing exceptional products. He is always willing to step up to any challenges that arise, as well as lend a helping hand. Jack hopes to continue to grow by gaining valuable experience with new opportunities at Red Rock.

After school, Chris started working for KB Home and quickly was managing 3 communities and 10 Superintendents, and 3 Customer Service Technicians. He used his time in the production market to learn and implement a fast-paced schedule and still produce a fully customized product without sacrificing quality. He moved into managing multi-family housing projects for KB Home, as well as land development. Chris became interested in Land development where he found an excitement in turning raw land into a new thriving community or Business complex. He has multiple experiences developing and building multi-family, and mixed-use buildings throughout Arizona.
When Chris is not working, you can find him coaching kids in after school sports, and volunteering for the Boy Scouts. He finds absolute happiness in being a husband and a Dad to his 11-year-old daughter. He loves to spend as much time with his family as possible. Chris has an almost unhealthy love for anything with a motor. He is easy to spot at many car events held throughout the year.

Tom has an extremely wide range of project management experience from master planned community land development and hotel casino outdoor environments to nuclear power plant facility improvements. He earned his professional engineering license while working for APS as a design engineer and project manager at Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant. Tom holds a Professional Engineering License in the State of Arizona and earned a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
In 2018, Tom started Roca Verde Design Build with Red Rock owners Rick and Brett. This sister company of Red Rock is focused on servicing the Cannabis Industry. We put together a team of experts including several design engineers, project managers, and a master cannabis cultivator consultant.

Bryant is a country boy from a small town in Arizona where he was taught the value of hard work from a young age. He started on a dairy farm learning a variety of skills including mechanics, plumbing, equipment operation, landscaping, and his passion for welding. From there, he became a union ironworker, receiving numerous certifications and credentials for welding. He moved on from ironwork onto a new welding path fabricating custom creations or heavy equipment repairs and other applications. Bryant stays up to date with training as he continues to advance his career with Red Rock.

Mara’s professional journey began with her family’s construction business, where she specialized in site development, infrastructure, as well as high-end residential, commercial and hospitality construction. Over the years, she has also managed an exclusive residential community club, where she undertook a spectrum of activities including assisting in the Bahamas hurricane recovery. She has also worked in the planning and zoning sector, serving as a zoning enforcement officer and in operations and business development. She later excelled as a land-use consultant navigating complex regulatory arenas. Her ability to streamline processes and ensure compliance has been instrumental in the success of numerous projects.
Originally from the northeastern U.S, with roots in New York and Connecticut, Mara moved to Arizona in 2021, where she still carries a deep appreciation for her upbringing and personal roots.

young age under the tutelage of his father and grandfather who were both master craftsmen. Scot
enlisted in the U.S. Air Force at age 17 and spent much of the 80s and 90s serving in numerous conflicts around the world. He is a decorated Desert Storm veteran. After leaving the military, Scot spent the early 2000’s as a certified welder and millwright building numerous Sawmills and boilers in the Pacific Northwest. He settled in Arizona in 2010 and has been a certified welder and fabricator in the Phoenix area ever since.

Roberto started in carpentry and Framing. He worked as a framer for 6 years. He then moved from framing and carpentry into bridges and concrete work. Roberto spent 16 years working in that field of work before joining the Red Rock Team in 2021.
You will always find Roberto with a smile on his face and a contagious laugh, as long as there are no snakes around! When not at work, Roberto is busy spending time with his wife and family, and always loves to master the art of cooking.
